During the long winter months, you probably find yourself taking a few weeks off from your regular exercise routines and eating “cheat” meals. It’s “comfort food,” you tell yourself. The next thing you know, you’ve gained unwanted body fat and now dread the thought of wearing a swimsuit this summer. You turn to your closet and try on some of last season’s fashion favorites and find that nothing fits the way it used to. You put on your bikini and you feel anything but sexy. Or you’re just not happy with the body parts your mama gave you. So you figure you still have a few months to go before the tank tops come out and it’s time to work on your tan. Back you go to your dieting and painful exercise regime once again. You’re at the gym before work and you’re back on that same treadmill after work— sweating, huffing and puffing, frustrated—trying to pull it off again for the upcoming season.
Because you’ve been duped into believing certain “facts” about diet and training, you beat your body into submission year after year and never get anywhere. You watch what you eat, you exercise regularly, but your body composition doesn’t change. Still, you persevere; exercising has now become part of a daily routine for you. It’s not something you think about, it’s just something you do. Hey, I think it’s great if health is a priority and you’re taking care of yourself. I just think it’s silly to exercise if you no longer believe that you can achieve the body you’ve always wanted. In life, we often exchange our dreams for routines. I see this in many individuals doing their rounds of exercises in our gyms today.
I want to show you that it doesn’t matter how old you are, a woman can look hot and turn heads at any age. All you need is the desire, the right information and the right plan of action.
