Muscle vs. Fat which weighs more?

I don’t know how many time I’ve heard someone say ‘muscle weighs more than fat’. Really? Which weighs more, a pound of rocks or a pound of feathers?

Muscle and fat weigh exactly the same, muscle being a much denser tissue than fat takes up less space on the body then fat does.
